Notice of Annual Meeting of the Parish Council - Tuesday, 9 May 2023 at 7.30pm at The Greaves Club, Fisher Road, Bishop's Itchington, CV47 2RE
Members of the public and press are invited to attend the annual parish council meeting and are welcome to address the parish council on any items on the agenda during the public forum.
Please note that the meeting may be recorded or filmed and that the council is unable to give any guarantee that members of the public will not be included. If this concerns you, please contact the clerk prior to the meeting. If you would like to record or film a meeting, we encourage you to contact the council in advance so that we can ensure the necessary arrangements are in place.
AGENDA
1. Election of Chairman
To elect the chairman of the council and receive their declaration of acceptance of office.
2. Election of Vice-chairman
To elect the vice-chairman of the council.
3. Apologies for Absence
To receive members’ apologies for absence.
4. Declaration of Interests
Members are responsible for determining whether they have a disclosable pecuniary interest in any item on the agenda, as defined by regulations made by the Secretary of State, , should disclose it and any other conflict of interest they may have, as soon as possible after the start of the meeting.
5. To receive and consider granting any dispensation requests.
6. To appoint working parties and their members.
7. To appoint representatives to outside bodies.
Following the conclusion of the Annual Parish Council Meeting, the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting for May will commence:

To receive and consider accepting apologies from members.
2. Declaration of Interests:

3. Dispensations:
To receive and consider granting any dispensation requests.
4. Minutes:
To approve the minutes of the ordinary parish council meeting held on 17 April 2023.
5. Public Forum:
A maximum of 15 minutes is set aside for members of the public to address the council on any item on the agenda. A maximum of 3 minutes shall be allowed for each speaker.
6. Planning Matters:

a. Whether the parish council agrees with Stratford District Council thyat the follwing planning applications on behalf of the Co-op should be looked at in tandem,
b. To decide whether the parish council wishes to change its previous decisions,

To exchange latest information with WCC and SDC councillor.
8. Finance:
1.To receive monthly financial report for April 2023.
2.To receive bank reconciliation report for April 2023.
3.To approve accounts for payment 9 May 2023.
4.To approve the continuation of the use of Standing Orders/Direct Debits for the financial year 2023-2024
9. Bishop’s Itchington Carnival – 1 July 2023
To discuss the following:
1. Whether the parish council wants to have a presence at this event in the form of a stall to promote the work of the parish council and for the recruitment of parish councillors,
2. Use of the playing fields car park for parking for exhibitors.
10. Environment & Properties:
1.Playground Refurbishment Update,
2.Refurbishment of Chapel Windows – to discuss the quotes submitted and decide on which company to use,
