Station Road (between Depper's Bridge and Lakin Drive) will now be closed Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th February

I have just been contacted by HS2 to explain changes to the proposed road closures:

"Further to our update from Friday 5 February, we can confirm that works were completed on the section of the B4452 road between the A425 and Butt Lane and the road subsequently reopened to the public.

Unfortunately we need to continue working on the B4452 Deppers Bridge section between Butt Lane to Station road and we are in discussions with Warwickshire County Council. Works in this section are due to be completed by close of business Tuesday night 9 February. Following the completion of this works, and the reopening of this second section of road, our teams will move on to the next section, which is the B4451 Station Road between Deppers Bridge and Lakin drive. Works in this section are planned to be completed on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 February.

We are doing our utmost to complete these works as quickly as possible and hope that current wintery weather conditions don’t have a negative impact on our planned activities. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding as we continue to update you on our progress.

Access will still be maintained for households and businesses along both routes and a clearly signposted diversion will be in place. We will also ensure that all road signage reflects approved changes.
