Complaints Procedure

This document explains what to do if you are unhappy with the service you have received and would like to raise a formal complaint about the council's staff or its procedures. If you decide to submit a formal complaint, please do so using the complaint form on the right of this page.

Complaints Against Councillors

If your complaint is about a councillor, please read the information on the right of this page. Complaints against councillors are dealt with by the monitoring officer at Stratford-District Council and your complaint should be sent directly to them. More information on the process can be found in this document.

Action Plan

This is the council's plan for the year and is prepared in association with the budget. It lists the most significant projects to be undertaken during the financial year and other areas of work to be completed.

Protocol for Pre-Planning Application Discussions

The parish council is often approached by developers who would like the opportunity to meet informally with councillors to discuss their proposals. The parish council recognises that there is some value in such a meeting in terms of helping to further the interests of the local community. However, the parish council is also committed to acting with complete transparency at all times and has therefore adopted a protocol for dealing with developers. This document makes it quite clear that any meetings are without prejudice and will be properly minuted and that those minutes will be published and made available to local residents.
